Pity the Randy Catastrophist

Pity the randy catastrophist
Stepped down, or forcibly dismissed,
But only for a moment, do this,
For he laughed and took the piss.
He journeyed from hero
To held in contempt,
He spent his life inventing dangers,
Modelling fantasies into being,
If the chance of death from disease was not zero
The world must be put into quarantine,
So he banned us all from seeing,
Loved ones, loathed ones, neighbours, strangers.
Yet seemed to think himself exempt,
Craved his mistress and acts obscene
Fancied a bit of adulterous shagging,
With his beautiful blond, with the arse like a peach,
Who longed for the end of freedom of speech
And the shutting down and the absolute gagging
Of any found guilty of denying
Climate change on the internet.
So pity the randy catastrophist,
Stepped down, or forcibly dismissed,
But only for a moment do this,
For he laughed and took the piss.
Yes let your pity be quite fleeting,
Hypocrisy is a form of lying
As old as the hills and quite as stale,
And lest you don’t know, or might forget
The moral of this bitchy tale
Is ‘journeys end in lovers meeting’.
