Your history is evil,
And by the way, you don’t exist,
You never were a people,
But everything you did collectively was wrong.
Your history is one of exploitation,
The place you dwelt was not your nation,
Your existence is a fact of legislation,
That is all,
And we legislate for others now,
Conjuring with documentation,
A people who do exist,
In bureaucracy’s imagination,
For we list them,
On a system,
And endow them with a history, collectively,
Named ‘The Benefit of Immigration’.
Your history is wonderful,
And by the way, you don’t exist,
You never were a people,
But everything you did collectively was marvellous,
Your history is one of getting things right,
Of doing things that suited you
As a non existent people
Who knew how to fight,
For what was good and true
As you thought in terms of universal principles.
You never were a people
Nor a group of sovereign nations,
Just a mass of generalisations,
You had no collective identity,
Every one of you was a non entity,
Atomised, smaller than small,
But collectively, you had a way,
Of making sure that what you had to say,
Was absolutely fitting, for all.
